TASHKENT, July 27. /Dunyo IA/. Participants of the international Games of the Future 2026 tournament have begun arriving in Astana, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the international news agency “Kazinform”, in the coming days the capital of Kazakhstan will welcome more than 800 athletes, including the world’s strongest teams in esports and phygital disciplines.

The first to arrive in Astana were the participants of the phygital basketball tournament, Phygital Basketball Presented by Halyk Fund. Among them are teams such as MINSK, Zagrebacki malisani NITUI, Vozdovac Belgrad, Dangerous Meridianbet, Flow Game Basketball, and Boca Juniors.

Preparation for the tournament is nearing completion at the sports venues of Kazakhstan's capital. In addition to the competitions, interactive zones and technological platforms will be organized for both participants and spectators.

2026 Games of the Future will take place in Astana from July 29 to August 9. The program features eight disciplines that combine physical and digital competition formats.

Inaugural tournament was held in Kazan in 2024, followed by the 2025 Games hosted in Abu Dhabi.
