DUBAI, August 28. /Dunyo IA/. In cooperation with “Dubai Chambers”, the official opening ceremony and the inaugural general meeting of the Uzbekistan Business Council in Dubai have taken place, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by representatives of the business circles of Uzbekistan and the UAE, major companies, investors and the business community. Within the framework of the meeting, the strategic priorities of the Council's activities were presented, founding documents were signed and B2B negotiations were conducted.

Leadership of “Dubai Chambers” noted the consistent development of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing that the newly established Council will serve as an effective institutional platform for expanding direct and systemic ties between the business communities.

Participants of the event were also briefed on the large-scale economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shvakat Mirziyoyev, as well as measures aimed at improving the investment climate and creating favourable conditions for entrepreneurs.

Core objectives of the Council include maintaining a continuous dialogue between the business circles of Uzbekistan and the UAE, expanding the presence of Uzbek companies in the Emirates' market, attracting Emirati investors to promising projects and increasing the volume of mutual trade and investments.

Launch of the Business Council in Dubai is expected to provide a powerful impetus to elevating the Uzbek-Emirati business and investment partnership to a qualitatively new level.
