YEKATERINBURG, September 30. /Dunyo IA/. A football match dedicated to the 35^th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s state independence was held at the Ural Football Arena in Yekaterinburg, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The match brought together the Pakhtakor-Yekaterinburg team and students of the Ural State Mining University. The event was attended by members of the Uzbek community living in the Ural Federal District, as well as students and young people studying in the region.

Ambassador to Uzbekistan to Russia Botirjon Asadov congratulated those gathered on the 35^th anniversary of the country’s state independence. Leonid Rapoport, Minister of Sports and Physical Culture of the Sverdlovsk Region, also delivered congratulatory remarks.

The match was played in a highly competitive atmosphere, with both teams demonstrating strong skills and a determination to win.

Following the game, participants were presented with certificates of appreciation, a trophy and medals prepared by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg and Uzbek community sponsors.
