WARSAW, October 27. /Dunyo IA/.  A “Poland - Uzbekistan” logistics hub has been established in Poland on the premises of the “ATT Logistics” company, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Hub was organized during a visit of a delegation of Uzbek entrepreneurs to Poland, which took place within the framework of a European Union grant project. “ATT Logistics”, located in the Masovian Voivodeship, is one of the leading companies in the field of international freight transportation. It operates regular transport routes across EU and CIS destinations, maintaining a fleet of more than 100 modern “Euro-6” standard trucks and over 15,000 square meters of open and closed warehouse space. An area of 1,000 square meters has been allocated specifically for the hub.

Hub was established to increase trade turnover and provide entrepreneurs with additional conveniences, as well as to ensure the systematic and prompt delivery of national products to the European market and unhindered access to major retail chains in Central and Eastern Europe.

During the visit, meetings were held with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland, Jacek Czerniak, and the leadership of the National Support Centre for Agriculture (KOWR), “Wody Polskie” State Water Holding and other organizations.

Delegation visited leading industrial and commercial facilities in Poland, where they familiarized themselves with their production capacities and technologies: the “Pronar” agricultural and municipal machinery plant, “Dary Natury” company (organic products and medicinal herbs), “Verifis” enterprise (modular furniture systems) and “MOŚCIBRODY” (meat processing). Prospects for export, import, and the implementation of joint projects were discussed with the management of the “Topaz” regional retail network.

A “roundtable” discussion was held in Białystok at the headquarters of the Podlasie Association of Transport Carriers, with the participation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Poland Stefan Krajewski, Uzbek delegation and representatives of major logistics companies from the region. The discussions focused on the diversification of transport and logistics corridors, the joint resolution of challenges in freight transportation, and optimal solutions for the unhindered and prompt import of national products into the European market.

Business mission laid the foundation for strengthening trade and economic ties between the Tashkent region and the regions of Poland, developing industrial cooperation and implementing promising projects.
