TASHKENT, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a contest titled “The Most Active Reader”, aimed at promoting a reading culture among its employees, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Contest participants answered 30 multiple-choice questions on works of Uzbek and foreign literature. According to the employees, the competition provided an opportunity not only to test their knowledge but also to discover new books through their colleagues' recommendations.

As Shukhrat Yigitaliev, Advisor to the Minister on Spirituality, Enlightenment and State Language, noted, special attention within the project was paid to the participation of young diplomats and the cultivation of a sustained interest in reading among them. It was also emphasized that the competition will contribute to forming an internal ranking of reading activity within the ministry.
