New Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Belarus presents credentials to the President of this country

• 67MINSK, July 28. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Mamajonov, presented his credentials to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Along with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, the newly appointed ambassadors of Brazil, Peru, Mongolia, South Korea, Myanmar, Saudi Arabia, Libya and Rwanda took part in the ceremony.
Addressing the new heads of diplomatic missions, Alexander Lukashenko specifically noted the role of Uzbekistan in Central Asia. He emphasized that the historic visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Belarus, which took place last month, brought bilateral relations to the level of strategic partnership and opened a new stage in the development of interaction between the two states.
During the conversation, sincere greetings and words of deep respect from the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, were conveyed to the President of Belarus.
In addition, during a brief conversation with the diplomats, the President of Belarus repeatedly returned to the topic of Uzbek-Belarusian cooperation. He noted the intensification of trade and investment projects between the two countries, emphasizing that bilateral relations have acquired a new dynamic and pragmatic character, which became possible thanks to his open, trusting and friendly relations with the President of Uzbekistan.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov, who accompanied the ambassadors during the ceremony, informed President Alexander Lukashenko that measures are being taken for the accelerated implementation of the agreements reached with Uzbekistan.
