ISTANBUL, October 29. /Dunyo IA/.  Consulate General of Uzbekistan organized a cultural and educational event dedicated to the 35^th anniversary of state independence for fellow citizens working at the Turkish construction company “Kalyon Holding”, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Within the framework of the event, a poetry evening was held with the participation of the prominent Uzbek poetess, Professor Sayyora Tuychieva, where she recited poems about the Homeland, independence, and national values. Uzbek artists Aziz Rajabi and Adolat Ismoilova performed melodies and songs reflecting the rich traditions of Uzbek national music.

Efforts of compatriots who work abroad and contribute to strengthening unity among fellow citizens were also recognized. Special attention was paid to strengthening the sense of connection with the Homeland among citizens working abroad and ensuring they feel the attention and care of the country.
