TASHKENT, August 1. /Dunyo IA/. A charter flight from the United States arrived at Tashkent International Airport today with 18 Uzbek nationals deported for violating U.S. immigration laws, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The return of the citizens of Uzbekistan was made possible through coordinated cooperation between the competent authorities of Uzbekistan and the United States. As part of bilateral collaboration, all necessary organizational and legal procedures — including the identification of the individuals, the processing of travel documents, and arrangements for their safe transportation — were completed promptly.

Uzbekistan continues to cooperate on a regular basis with its international partners on migration-related issues, including the prevention of violations of migration laws and the protection of the rights and interests of Uzbek citizens abroad.
