Parliamentary delegation of Indonesia arrives in Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, June 29. /Dunyo IA/.   Today, a parliamentary delegation from Indonesia, led by the Chairman of the People’s Consultative Assembly Ahmad Muzani, arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the information service of the upper house of the Oliy Majlis, during the visit, Chairperson of the Senate Tanzila Narbaeva and Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Nuriddin Ismoilov are scheduled to hold meetings with the members of the Indonesian delegation.

Indonesian legislators are scheduled to review the operations of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, Committee for Religious Affairs, Center of Islamic Civilization and International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan, alongside participating in forums dedicated to trade and economic cooperation.

Furthermore, it is anticipated that the delegation members will acquaint themselves with the profound historical and cultural legacy, sacred pilgrimage shrines and the industrial and tourism assets of the Bukhara and Samarkand regions.
