SEOUL, September 17. /Dunyo IA/. During his State Visit to the Republic of Korea, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev traditionally met with compatriots working and studying in this country and held a conversation with them.

A Dunyo IA correspondent inquired about the impressions of the compatriots who participated in the conversation with the Head of our State.

Lobar Zoirova, a Master's student at “Sookmyung” Women's University:

– I was born in the city of Karshi. Currently, with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, I lead the “Opa-singillar” community, which unites Uzbek women in this country.

Personal meeting with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev became an unforgettable event for me. It was a great honour to shake hands with the Head of State and hear his thoughts and insights.

During the meeting, the President emphasized that the knowledge and experience youth acquire abroad constitute a vital resource for the development of Uzbekistan. He also spoke about the work being done to create the necessary conditions and new jobs so that young people can return to the Motherland and work in their respective fields with dignity.

During the interaction, the Head of State attentively listened to our opinions and suggestions. The fact that relevant decisions and instructions were issued on the spot regarding the proposals made demonstrated the practical nature of the meeting.

For us, this became an opportunity to freely express our thoughts, actively contribute with our proposals, and realize even more deeply our involvement in the country's development.

President's trust in the younger generation deserves special attention. For us, young people studying abroad, this trust is not only a great opportunity but also a profound responsibility.

As a young specialist studying political science and international relations, I connect this meeting directly with my professional future. I intend to utilize the knowledge and experience gained in Korea in the future for the benefit of Uzbekistan.

Main conclusion I drew after the meeting is that every young person studying abroad must be able to transform their knowledge not only into an opportunity for their personal future, but also into a resource for the development of the Motherland. The meeting with the President helped us feel this responsibility even more deeply.

Shakhzoda Yuldasheva, a 4^th-year student at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies:

– The meeting with the President became one of the most unforgettable days of my life. For me, meeting the Head of State was a vivid and joyful event.

At the meeting, as young people studying abroad, we were given the opportunity to express our opinions and proposals, and to speak openly about the development of our Motherland.

We are always delighted to witness the relations between Uzbekistan and South Korea reaching a new level, as well as to learn about new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

The most important thing is that we felt the trust being placed in the youth. We will strive to justify this trust through our knowledge, hard work and achievements.

Serving the Motherland begins with contributing to its development, regardless of where you are located.

Muqaddam Isomova, a specialist at “LS ELECTRIC” in South Korea:

– I was born and raised in the Bukhara region. I graduated with a Master's degree in International Relations from Seoul National University. Today, I work in the international trade department of “LS ELECTRIC”, a leading South Korean company operating in the fields of electric power, automation and electrical equipment.

Meeting with the President in Seoul was not just an event for me, but one of the most unforgettable and spiritually significant occurrences in my life.

During the meeting, I once again felt the opportunities and support that President Shavkat Mirziyoyev creates for women. Indeed, nearly half of the meeting participants were women.

Throughout the conversation, we realized that we are not merely young people studying or working abroad, but a generation that carries the responsibility for the future of Uzbekistan.

I was particularly moved by the President’s words: “Convey my personal gratitude to your parents for raising such children”. It is precisely thanks to the prayers and support of my parents that I have reached my current level.

Following this meeting, I have set even more ambitious goals for myself. I wish to contribute not only to the fields of education and science, but also to the further development of electric power and automation in Uzbekistan.

One of my primary objectives is to apply the knowledge and experience I am acquiring abroad for the benefit of the Motherland, to become a highly qualified specialist and to return to Uzbekistan.

Ibrohim Mahmudov, a specialist at the “Keumseong” law firm in South Korea:

– It would be no exaggeration to say that the meeting with the Head of State became a historic day for us, the youth. The joy in the President’s eyes and his sincere words filled all of us with a sense of pride.

Shaking hands with the President carried a special significance for me. Following the meeting, I felt a renewed sense of strength, energy and inspiration. I was deeply impressed by the words of the Head of State: “We are waiting for you, make sure to return to the Motherland”.

These words helped us feel once again that not only our parents, but our entire Motherland is waiting for us. At the same time, we became more profoundly aware of our responsibility to the country and the need to approach our activities with even greater dedication.

Following this meeting, I made a definitive decision: every individual, regardless of where they are located and what profession they practice, must serve their Motherland.

I express my sincere gratitude to the President for this unforgettable meeting. Serving for the prosperity of our Motherland and the interests of our people is not only a great honor for us, but also an immense responsibility.
