LONDON, October 19. /Dunyo IA/. From October 12 to 17, 2025, a delegation led by the Chairperson of the "El-Yurt Umidi" Foundation of Uzbekistan conducted an official visit to the United Kingdom, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the visit, negotiations were held with the leadership of higher education institutions, including a detailed review of the educational programs for the Foundation’s scholarship recipients. Discussions also focused on the establishment of bilateral joint educational programs in collaboration with scientific research institutions.

Specifically, discussions focused on enhancing cooperation with universities of Great Britain (Universities UK International), including Queen Mary University of London, the University of Cambridge, the University of Warwick, and University College London.

During negotiations with university representatives, the parties deliberated on establishing collaborative relations and the signing of a bilateral agreement draft to formalize partnership initiatives.

As part of the visit, a meeting was organized with scholarship recipients of the "El-Yurt Umidi" Foundation currently studying at UK universities. The delegation members had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the educational programs and living conditions of the Foundation’s scholars.
