TASHKENT, June 26. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad have organized joint viewing events for the matches of the Uzbekistan national team within the framework of the FIFA World Cup 2026, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In Berlin, Embassy of Uzbekistan organized a collective viewing of the match, attended by representatives of the German public, business circles, partner organizations, the media and compatriots. Prior to the live broadcast, the guests were presented with a documentary film titled “Uzbek Football: A story of dreams, patience and pride”.

Similar events in support of the national team were also held in Hamburg, Hanover and several other German cities with the participation of Uzbek diaspora associations. The attendees actively supported the national squad, noting the historic significance of its performance at the World Cup and the vital role of such gatherings in strengthening ties among compatriots.

In Prague, Embassy, in cooperation with the Association of Uzbek Students in the Czech Republic, organized a collective viewing of the match at the “Samarkand” restaurant, bringing together compatriots, students and representatives of foreign nations. During the event, trivia quizzes were conducted, with the presentation of commemorative prizes and national team merchandise. The joint viewing contributed to the consolidation of Uzbek youth, reinforced a sense of national pride and promoted a positive image of Uzbekistan abroad.

In Minsk, Embassy, in cooperation with the representative of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan, organized a collective viewing of the match for Uzbek students enrolled in higher education institutions of Belarus. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the participants cheered for the national team, and the event served as a platform for communication, strengthening ties among compatriots and popularizing the national traditions and culture of Uzbekistan.
