Renowned Israeli Neurosurgeon Conducts Master Classes and Consultations in Tashkent

TASHKENT, July 11. /Dunyo IA/. Renowned pediatric neurosurgeon Professor Shlomi Constantini, Director of the Gilbert Israeli & International Neurofibromatosis Center at Ichilov Medical Center and President-Elect of the Asian Australasian Society of Neurological Surgeons (AASNS), visited Uzbekistan at the initiative of the country’s Embassy, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During his visit, Professor Constantini delivered an intensive training course for Uzbek specialists focused on modern methods of diagnosing and surgically treating hydrocephalus, brain tumors, traumatic brain injuries, and other pediatric neurosurgical conditions.
The practical part of the program included consultations with patients at the National Children’s Medical Center. Together with Uzbek doctors, the professor reviewed complex clinical cases and provided recommendations on further treatment strategies.
Professor Constantini also participated in the International Conference on Pediatric Neurology Disorders, Stroke and Treatments held in Tashkent, where he delivered scientific presentations on current issues in modern pediatric neurosurgery.
Following the visit, Professor Constantini highly praised the potential of the National Children’s Medical Center and confirmed his readiness to develop long-term cooperation between leading pediatric medical institutions of Uzbekistan and Israel.
