Universities of Uzbekistan and Poland Sign Student Exchange Agreement

• 130WARSAW, July 9. /Dunyo IA/. Tashkent International University of Financial Management and Technologies (TIFT University) and the University of Gdańsk have signed a student exchange agreement and discussed new avenues for collaborative engagement, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
As part of the Uzbek academic delegation's visit to Poland, a high-level meeting was convened with the Rector of the University of Gdańsk, Professor Piotr Stepnowski. The parties deliberated on the advancement of educational and scientific ties, student and faculty exchanges, the launch of collaborative research initiatives and the strategic prospects of establishing dual-degree programs.
Signed agreement provides for the expansion of academic mobility between the universities, the implementation of joint educational initiatives, and the strengthening of long-term partnership.
Within the framework of the working meetings, representatives of the two institutions identified practical areas of cooperation. Special attention was dedicated to joint projects in the fields of economics, finance, logistics, management and sustainable finance, as well as the advancement of scientific research and the coordination of academic curricula.
Polish side noted a growing interest in cooperating with Uzbekistan in the field of higher education, emphasizing that Uzbek universities are highly promising partners for Polish higher education institutions. The increasing number of students from Uzbekistan currently studying in Poland was also highlighted.
Signing of the agreement between TIFT University and the University of Gdańsk marks a significant step forward in strengthening educational ties between Uzbekistan and Poland. Moving forward, the parties plan to continue developing joint academic programs, launching scientific projects and expanding opportunities for academic exchange.
