MEDINA, October 19. /Dunyo IA/.   Diplomats of Uzbekistan met in Medina with the President of Taibah University, Nawal Mohammed Alrasheed, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to her, 11 citizens of Uzbekistan are currently studying at the university, including seven female and four male students. Six students are studying the Arabic language and another five are studying Islamic studies.

Parties expressed interest in the exchange of experience between professors and teaching staff. In particular, cooperation with Uzbek higher education institutions specializing in information technology, engineering, medicine, foreign languages, crafts and tourism is being considered.

An agreement was also reached to hold a “roundtable” with Uzbek students in November this year. It was proposed to consider Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages and Tashkent University of Information Technologies as potential partners.
