DELHI, May 23. /Dunyo IA/. The Forum of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and India will take place in Delhi, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event, organized on May 25 by the Embassy of Uzbekistan and the Indian company MD House, will bring together delegations from higher education institutions of both countries.
In recent years, interest among Indian youth in studying at Uzbek universities has been growing dynamically. This is facilitated by ongoing reforms across various sectors in Uzbekistan, the alignment of the national education system with international standards, favorable conditions created for foreign students—such as instruction in English—and other attractive factors. Equally important is the establishment of comfortable living conditions and a safe environment for students coming from abroad.
During the forum, delegations from Uzbek and Indian universities are expected to discuss new prospects for mutual cooperation and sign memorandums of understanding.
Representatives of Uzbekistan will also hold negotiations with major companies involved in organizing overseas education for youth.
Higher education has become one of the fastest-growing areas of bilateral cooperation in recent years. Currently, approximately 10,000 Indian students are studying at universities and institutes in Uzbekistan, a number that continues to increase annually.
