Tashkent and Budapest discuss the possibility of transferring the innovative educational and production technopark of “INNO” in Jizzakh to the Hungarian University Management

BUDAPEST, December 15. /Dunyo IA/.  A delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Ulugbek Khusainov, Director of the Agency for Governance Efficiency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, held talks with Professor Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Parties discussed the launch of the “INNO” Innovative Educational and Production Technopark in Jizzakh. Particular attention was given to the possibility of entrusting the management of the technopark to Óbuda University, which would help ensure high standards in both educational and production processes.

As a result of the discussions, an agreement was reached on internships and exchange programs: around 50 Uzbek students will have the opportunity to study and gain practical experience at Óbuda University, acquiring valuable international exposure.

Rector Levente Kovács also expressed interest in participating in the Second Rectors’ Forum, scheduled to take place in Samarkand in March 2026. Such exchanges and cooperation between universities are expected to create new opportunities for the development of innovative education and to strengthen academic ties between Uzbekistan and Hungary.
