Uzbek Diplomats Meet with Compatriots at Construction Site in Saint Petersburg

SAINT PETERSBURG, September 6. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met with Uzbek compatriots working at a construction site operated by “SK-78” LLC, reports a Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the meeting, the citizens were provided with explanations regarding consular services and new provisions of migration legislation. In particular, the diplomats explained the procedure for temporary consular registration of citizens residing abroad, as well as its practical benefits and advantages for compatriots.
The citizens were also informed that, should the level of threats increase, assistance could be provided with employment and temporary relocation to other regions of Russia or with returning to Uzbekistan.
The diplomats also provided information on the procedure for obtaining documents authorizing employment in Russia, the need to comply with legal requirements while working, and the types of assistance available to citizens facing difficult social or financial circumstances.
The living and working conditions of the citizens were also reviewed during the meetings, followed by answers to their questions.
