LONDON, September 27. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats from the Embassy of Uzbekistan held an outreach meeting with Uzbek citizens temporarily working at “Evesham Vale Growers”, an agricultural farm in Worcestershire, UK, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The meeting focused on reviewing the workers’ living and working conditions, identifying their concerns and needs, and providing preventive guidance and explanations.

The citizens were reminded of the importance of strictly complying with UK laws, visa requirements and the terms of their employment contracts.

Particular attention was given to maintaining public order and contacting the embassy if any problems related to their employment arise.

The workers were also urged not to respond to provocations, avoid conflicts and refrain from participating in unlawful activities or following calls promoted by third parties.

Diplomats separately stressed the importance of treating unverified information on social media critically and not sharing information whose accuracy has not been confirmed.

During the meeting, embassy representatives heard the citizens’ concerns and suggestions and provided guidance on employment and living conditions.

The participants were also informed about the procedure for contacting the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the UK in the event of problems or emergencies.
