NOVOSIBIRSK, October 18. /Dunyo IA/. Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk has organized another on-site meeting with citizens of Uzbekistan employed at one of Russia’s largest manufacturers of billiard and tennis tables, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

More than 120 Uzbek citizens with various specialisations work at the factory, including highly qualified specialists who operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines.

According to company representatives, employees from Uzbekistan are provided with accommodation and two free hot meals a day. The company also covers most of the costs associated with obtaining a patent required for employment. In addition, the factory’s management plans to hire another 15 Uzbek citizens.

During the meeting, staff of the Consulate General provided detailed consultations on consular and legal assistance, explained the migration requirements of the Russian Federation applicable in the Novosibirsk Region, and offered guidance on complying with personal and fire safety rules.

Particular attention was drawn to the readiness of the Consulate General and the representative office of the Migration Agency to continue assisting Uzbek citizens with the preparation of necessary documents, providing one-time financial assistance in eligible cases, and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of citizens of Uzbekistan in the Novosibirsk Region.
