IRKUTSK, October 30. /Dunyo IA/.  Consul General of Uzbekistan in Novosibirsk Aslam Akbarov, met with citizens of Uzbekistan staying in Irkutsk, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, Consul General emphasized the importance of compatriots compliance with the laws and regulations of the host country. In the event of a violation of their rights, he urged them to immediately contact the Consulate General of Uzbekistan for the prompt resolution of emerging problems.

Citizens were assured of the readiness of the Consulate General to continue providing any assistance, both in issuing the necessary documents and in protecting their rights and interests.

Compatriots were given comprehensive answers to questions, including those on obtaining new documents to replace lost ones, patents for employment activities and other aspects.

Furthermore, new passports and 11 certificates of return to the homeland were presented, and applications for the replacement of lost and expired passports were accepted. Ten citizens of Uzbekistan were registered for temporary consular accounting.

In turn, citizens thanked the diplomats for the regular meetings, which, in their opinion, not only increase awareness of compliance with the laws of the host country but also significantly contribute to the protection of their rights and freedoms throughout the Siberian Federal District of Russia.
