BRUSSELS, 17 October. /Dunyo IA/.  Ahead of the upcoming Global Tourism Forum meeting in Brussels scheduled for 20–21 October, a ceremonial event was held under the theme "World Tourism Awards 2025: Honoring Global Excellence in Travel and Hospitality", reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

On that day, leading global companies in the tourism and hospitality industry gathered at the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium in Brussels to attend the ceremonial presentation of the 2025 "World Tourism Awards".

During the event, outstanding destinations, organizations, and innovators shaping the future of global travel and tourism were honored for their contributions to the industry. Special recognition was given to initiatives that advanced sustainability, technology, investment, and cultural innovation.

Notably, Uzbekistan was awarded the title of "Best Cultural Tourism Destination" in the category of "Destination Excellence and Top Travel Destinations", reflecting its growing prominence as a center of cultural heritage and world-class tourism experiences.
