Uzbekistan and Egypt expand cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector

CAIRO, July 17. /Dunyo IA/. The leadership of the Uzbek pharmaceutical companies Propharm Partners and Lafz visited Egypt, where fruitful negotiations were held and mutually beneficial agreements were signed, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Following negotiations with representatives of the ACDIMA holding company, an agreement was signed on the joint localization of a number of pharmaceutical products in Uzbekistan. The parties agreed on the terms and implementation mechanism for the project.


ACDIMA is the largest pharmaceutical holding in the Middle East, comprising 17 companies specializing in various sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. It currently produces 1,200 types of pharmaceutical products.


During the visit, distribution agreements were also signed with EIPICO, MUP (Medical Union Pharmaceuticals), and October Pharma, all of which are part of the ACDIMA holding.


The signed documents provide for the import and subsequent localization of high-quality and affordable medicines produced by Egyptian companies, aimed at meeting the needs of the our citizens.
