China and Russia are the largest investors in the economy of Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, September 15. /Dunyo IA/. In 2024, foreign investments and loans worth a total of 27.7 billion US dollars were used in Uzbekistan's fixed capital, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the National Statistics Committee, among the investor countries, the largest share belongs to China – 28.7%. It is followed by Russia (12.7%), Turkiye (7%), Germany (5.1%), Saudi Arabia (4.8%) and Great Britain (3.8%).
Statistics confirm the sustainable diversification of sources of foreign investment in the economy of Uzbekistan, with China continuing to gain a leading position as a strategic partner of the country.
