TASHKENT, November 26. /Dunyo IA/. Our compatriot, Grandmaster Javokhir Sindarov, has clinched victory at the 2025 FIDE World Cup, the global chess tournament, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

In the final match held on Wednesday, Javokhir Sindarov triumphed over China’s Wei Yi in a tiebreak. Both players secured the right to participate in the 2026 Candidates Tournament.
Javokhir Sindarov, 19 years old, was part of the Uzbekistan national team that won the 2022 Chess Olympiad.
