Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to the President of Slovenia

LJUBLJANA, December 14. /Dunyo IA/. Yesterday, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Oybek Shakhavdinov, presented his credentials to the President of Slovenia, Nataša Pirc Musar, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Following the official ceremony, a conversation took place during which the sides discussed prospects for the development of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and Slovenia.
The main focus was on strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation. The schedule for bilateral events at various levels was also discussed, aimed at boosting interaction in the political, economic, and cultural spheres. Both sides expressed their readiness to further develop relations and implement joint projects.
It is worth noting that earlier this year, Oybek Shakhavdinov, who was appointed as first Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Slovenia, had presented copies of his credentials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia.
Additionally, Oybek Shakhavdinov serves as Uzbekistan’s first Ambassador to Hungary, with residence in Budapest, and concurrently in Croatia, Montenegro, and Slovenia.
