Uzbekistan’s pavilion shines at the international festival of culture, tourism, and foreign languages in Cairo

CAIRO, May 1. /Dunyo IA/. Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan participated in the International Festival of Culture, Tourism, and Foreign Languages, held at the prestigious Badr University in Cairo, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event was also attended by representatives of diplomatic missions from the United States, Germany, China, Spain, Italy, as well as cultural and language centers of foreign countries in Egypt.
At Uzbekistan’s stand, festival participants were provided with brochures, books, and materials that highlighted the cultural and tourism potential of the country. Large-format photographs and banners showcased architectural monuments, natural landscapes, and the craft traditions of Bukhara, Samarkand, and Khorezm.
Particular interest was drawn to illustrative materials about the country’s nature, culture, and national cuisine, which is the birthplace of Imam al-Bukhari, Imam at-Termizi, Ibn Sina, and Al-Khwarizmi.
The embassy’s stand and the taste of national dishes were highly praised by the organizers and guests.
The organizing committee and the university’s leadership expressed their special gratitude to the Embassy of Uzbekistan.
It is worth noting that Badr University in Cairo is a renowned private university in Egypt, founded in 2014. The university spans 45 hectares and educates over 16,000 students across more than 20 faculties, offering programs from 25 leading universities worldwide.
