Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan attends regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States

ТАSHKENT, April 17. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, took part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States held in Moscow, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“Today in Moscow, together with colleagues from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan, we took part in the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - During the meeting, we exchanged views on pressing issues of the global and regional agenda, and also discussed prospects for further cooperation within the CIS framework.
Following the meeting, a number of documents aimed at further developing multilateral cooperation within the CIS were signed. These documents cover issues related to social development and improving the quality of life, humanitarian and educational cooperation, enhancement of the legal framework, as well as strengthening interagency cooperation.
Particular attention was paid to the development of trade and economic cooperation, including “green” energy and the environmental agenda, as well as to strengthening regional security in the context of current geopolitical changes”.
