TASHKENT, July 24. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov in Cholpon-Ata, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
“On the sidelines of the SCO Council of Foreign Ministers meeting, we held a substantive meeting with H.E. Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram-channel. - Particularly noted the strong momentum in the strategic partnership and allied relations between Uzbekistan and Russia. The active and trust-based dialogue between our Leaders provides a solid foundation for the consistent development of cooperation across all areas.
Special attention was paid to the timely and full implementation of agreements reached at the highest level, further expansion of trade, economic and interregional ties, as well as the intensification of cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Also exchanged views on current regional and international issues and reaffirmed our readiness to continue close cooperation within the SCO, CIS, UN and other multilateral frameworks”.
