PRAGUE, August 6. /Dunyo IA/. A meeting with a representative of the Czech company “NEGOCIO s.r.o.”, one of the country's leading importers and wholesale suppliers of food products, took place at the Embassy of Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the meeting, parties discussed prospects for expanding trade in agricultural products between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic, paying special attention to the opportunities for exporting Uzbek frozen fruit products to the European market.

Czech side expressed interest in the supply of frozen fruits produced in Uzbekistan using IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) technology, which allows for the individual quick shock freezing of each piece of fruit. In particular, interest was shown in raspberries, apricots, plums, and other berries and fruits. Furthermore, the parties exchanged views on the opportunities for supplying processed fruit products to the Czech market.

During the negotiations, export potential of Uzbekistan, issues of product compliance with international quality standards and packaging requirements, as well as the possibilities of organizing production in accordance with the requirements of the European market were reviewed.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to organize B2B negotiations between the Czech company and Uzbek exporters of frozen fruit products, as well as to continue developing cooperation and strengthening direct business contacts.
