WARSAW, August 10. /Dunyo IA/. Diplomats of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with Krzysztof Różycki, Director of “Green Crops”, a flagship company and a leading producer and supplier of fresh vegetables in Central and Eastern Europe, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the negotiations, issues of bringing cooperation between Uzbekistan and “Green Crops” to a new level, implementing joint projects, improving the system of training qualified personnel for the agricultural sector, as well as expanding opportunities for students to undertake educational and practical internships were discussed.

According to Krzysztof Różycki, this year, within the framework of the “AgriCool” grant project, more than 60 students from Uzbekistan, as well as specialist teachers working in the field of irrigation, are undergoing a paid educational and practical internship at “Green Crops”. He noted that the participation of Uzbek students and specialists in the company’s activities has a positive impact on work processes.

Head of the company expressed interest in further expanding this practice and announced plans to attract around 200 workers in 2027. In this regard, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of the “Green Crops” delegation, led by the head of the company, to Uzbekistan in September of this year. During the visit, it is planned to discuss the involvement of Uzbek students in the project, as well as to determine new promising areas of practical cooperation.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to consistently continue work on further developing practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and “Green Crops”, expanding opportunities for student internships and their subsequent employment, as well as training specialists for the agricultural sector with modern knowledge and practical skills.

In addition, Embassy delegation visited the residence of Uzbek students undergoing internships at “Green Crops” this year within the framework of the “AgriCool” project, as well as compatriots living in the region. In connection with the 35^th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan, a festive event was organized for them.

At the beginning of the event, the participants were briefed on the measures taken by the country’s leadership to support youth, provide them with quality education, and create conditions for the full realization of their potential, as well as for acquiring knowledge and practical experience abroad. Particular attention was paid to the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan.

Cultural part of the event took place in a festive atmosphere. The participants recited poems from works of Uzbek literature, performed national songs, and demonstrated Uzbek folk dances.

A warm and meaningful dialogue with compatriots was also held. During the meeting, the importance of preserving national values and traditions, strengthening the spiritual and moral education of youth, as well as fostering high cultural and patriotic values in the younger generation was emphasized

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan for their visit and participation in organizing the event dedicated to the 35^th Anniversary of the State Independence of Uzbekistan.

It is particularly important that, within the framework of the “AgriCool” program, we have had the opportunity to meet with all the students from Uzbekistan who came to Poland for their internship, to support them, provide the necessary assistance, and welcome them with traditional Polish hospitality.

I am very pleased to be part of this event, which clearly demonstrates the commitment of Uzbekistan and Poland to further strengthening mutual ties and developing practical cooperation between our countries.
