RIGA, September 22. /Dunyo IA/.   In order to expand national exports to the Baltic states, the Embassy of Uzbekistan, with the assistance of the Khokimiyat of Kashkadarya Region, organized an online seminar-training titled “Export to Europe” for entrepreneurs, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event was attended by Vladimir Galperin, Head of the Trade House of Uzbekistan in Latvia and Honorary Consul of our country.

Primary attention was focused on the requirements and conditions for the entry of Uzbek products into the markets of Latvia and the European Union. In particular, the Latvian specialist provided practical information on the certification of agricultural and food products, packaging standards, processing technologies, textile manufacturing and the licensing of production technologies.

During the seminar, participants received answers to their questions regarding the export of products to European countries.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Latvia, the seminar-trainings are scheduled to be held in September–October of this year, with the participation of exporters from all regions of Uzbekistan.
