WARSAW, September 29. /Dunyo IA/. A business mission of Uzbekistan led by the representative of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade Saidmurodkhon Muydinov visited Poland, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Members of the delegation familiarized themselves with the operations of the large logistics and warehouse complex “DTA Magazynier”, located in Warsaw.

During the meeting, parties discussed the possibilities of establishing additional conditions for the storage and distribution of products from Uzbek exporters in Poland, the re-export of domestic goods through Poland to other European countries, as well as the sales of textile and other products on the European market through e-commerce channels.

Furthermore, an exhibition of domestic products under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand and a “Road Show” program were held at a high level at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Warsaw, with the participation of representatives from more than 15 major Polish companies operating in the food, electrical, textile and other industries.

Within the framework of the program, Embassy staff presented comprehensive information on the trade and investment potential of Uzbekistan. Representatives of the Uzbek delegation delivered presentations on the capabilities of enterprises in their respective sectors. During the event, constructive negotiations in the B2B format were held between representatives of the business circles of the two countries.

In the course of the visit, meetings were held with Elżbieta Bodio, Chief Expert of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH), Jacek Michalski, as well as Edgar Skarżyński, Central Asia Expert of the “Poland - Asia” Chamber of Commerce. During these meetings, priority areas and promising product categories were identified to expand the export of Uzbek products to the markets of Poland and other European nations.

Following the B2B negotiations, preliminary agreements were reached on the export to Poland, and through it to the European market, of 500 tons of frozen sweet cherries, raisins, finished garments, as well as copper products and cable goods.

As a result of the business mission, new trade and logistics channels have been established for domestic enterprises to access the European market. At the same time, practical cooperation mechanisms have been defined, aimed at adapting domestic manufacturers to European standards and advanced manufacturing practices.
