A Group of Children from Uzbekistan Participates in the “Journey to Fabulous Saint Petersburg” Program

• 773SAINT PETERSBURG, January 8. /Dunyo IA/. A group of children from Uzbekistan has arrived in St. Petersburg at the invitation of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia (FNPR), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the winter holidays, an excursion and educational program called “Journey to Fabulous Saint Petersburg” has been organized for the group of 44 children.
At Saint Petersburg’s Pulkovo International Airport, the children were welcomed by representatives of the FNPR, the Consulate General of Uzbekistan, and “Uzbekistan Airways”.
In the airport arrival area, the children were greeted by Sergey Nekrasov, Deputy Chairman of the FNPR. He specifically emphasized the importance of strengthening Russian-Uzbek relations and the significance of such events. The program included folklore performances by artists, who, following tradition, welcomed the guests with bread and salt.
The arrival of the Uzbek children at the airport was widely covered by correspondents from the “Russia” TV channel and local media.
