TASHKENT, April 11. /Dunyo IA/. Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova held a meeting on April 9 with Ieva Jaunzeme, representative of the Latvian Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFCA), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

According to the MFA, during the talks, the sides discussed possibilities of joint work on projects in the field of "green economy", alternative energy sources, digitalization of agriculture, support for women’s entrepreneurship and nature conservation projects, including through EU environmental protection programmers.

The parties also discussed possibilities of deepening co-operation in attracting grants and financial and technical support.

The Uzbek Foreign Ministry confirmed its readiness to provide comprehensive support in the implementation of these initiatives.
