Italy appoints the new Ambassador to Uzbekistan

TASHKENT, December 4. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov today received the new Ambassador of Italy, Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

"Congratulate H.E. Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini on his appointment as the Ambassador of Italy to Uzbekistan, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. - After receiving the copies of his credentials we highlighted the top priorities on the agenda of Uzbekistan-Italy Strategic Partnership. The Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan stands ready to support Mr. Ambassador during his tenure in our country".
55-year-old career diplomat Piergabriele Papadia de Bottini, succeed Agostino Pinna, who headed the Embassy of Italy in Tashkent from 2020 to 2024.
