BUDAPEST, June 5. /Dunyo IA/. With the assistance of the Embassy and the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan, a compatriot who found himself in financial distress in Serbia has been returned to Uzbekistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
Uzbek citizen T.Z. contacted the consular section of the Embassy requesting assistance in returning home from the territory of Serbia.
He stated that the situation was caused by the failure of his employer in Serbia to fulfill their obligations, including providing the necessary documentation. As a result, the citizen found himself in financial distress and was unable to return home on his own.
Taking this into account, the Embassy established working contact with the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan. Following these efforts, a free plane ticket was purchased for the applicant using funds from the Fund for the Support and Protection of the Rights and Interests of Citizens Performing Labor Activities Abroad.
