TASHKENT, January 23. /Dunyo IA/. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met yesterday with the new Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee Ularbek Sharsheev, reports a correspondent of Dunyo IA.

"Welcomed H.E. Ularbek Sharsheev, newly appointed Director of the Executive Committee of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization’s Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure, - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan wrote in his telegram channel. - Today, the topics of security, stability, and guaranteed continuous development are as acute as never before. We are committed to actively cooperating with our partners to ensure common prosperity. During the meeting, we discussed the most effective ways to address the challenges surrounding us".
It is worth noting that 49-year-old representative of Kyrgyzstan, Major General Ularbek Sharsheev, has been appointed as the Director of the SCO RATS Executive Committee, based in Tashkent, for a three-year term. On January 1, 2025, he succeeded representative of Uzbekistan, Ruslan Mirzaev.
