Another round of Uzbek-South Korean political consultations held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

TASHKENT, June 15. /Dunyo IA/. Today, Tashkent hosted the next round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The delegations were led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Mirvokhid Azimov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea Chung Eui-hae.

During the meeting, held in a friendly and constructive atmosphere, the sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of the Uzbekistan–Korea special strategic partnership and the continued expansion of multifaceted cooperation.

The discussions focused on prospects for further deepening cooperation in the political, trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

The sides agreed to take additional measures to increase bilateral trade volumes and implement joint projects in such areas as transport, healthcare, education, and others.

The consultations reviewed the implementation of agreements reached during visits and meetings at the high levels, and identified priority directions for the development of cooperation in the near term. Particular attention was given to the schedule of upcoming events at various levels.
