ASHGABAT, October 23. /Dunyo IA/.   Delegation of Uzbekistan participated in the 31^st International Conference and Exhibition “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” held in Ashgabat, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Delegation included the heads of “Uzbekneftegaz”, “UzGasTrade” and “Uzenergosotish” JSC.

Within the framework of the visit, the representatives of Uzbekistan held meetings with the leadership of the State Concerns “Turkmennebit” and “Turkmengaz”, Ministry of Energy of Turkmenistan, as well as representatives of several foreign companies.

Parties discussed prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the oil, gas and electric power industries, paying special attention to new avenues of partnership.

It was noted that the talks held are aimed at expanding the practical interaction between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the energy sector, strengthening business ties, and realizing new joint opportunities.
