TASHKENT, April 8. /"Dunyo" IA/. A visa regime will be introduced for citizens of Tajikistan to travel to Türkiye from April 20, 2024, reports "Dunyo" IA correspondent.

According to Tajikistan’s National News Agency "Khovar", the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan received official notification from the Turkish side on April 6 via diplomatic channels.

"In light of this development, citizens of Tajikistan must obtain a visa prior to their travel to Türkiye, starting April 20, stated "Khovar". Previously, citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan could enter Turkey without a visa and stay there for up to 90 days".

The Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Istanbul confirmed that citizens of Uzbekistan can still  enter Türkiye without a visa and stay for a period of up to 90 days.
