ASHGABAT, February 23. /Dunyo IA/.  Uzbek diplomats took part in the international conference and exhibition held on the occasion of Turkmenistan Diplomatic Workers’ Day, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was held under the 2026 slogan, “Independent Neutral Turkmenistan - Homeland of Goal-Oriented Winged Horses” and focused on the country’s key foreign policy priorities.

The forum brought together leaders, staff, and veterans of Turkmenistan’s diplomatic service, heads and representatives of accredited diplomatic missions and international organisations, university faculty and students, as well as members of civil society and the media.

As part of the conference, a special exhibition dedicated to the professional holiday was organised. The exhibition was designed in an equestrian theme, reflecting the 2026 slogan.

Representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Turkmenistan showcased an exhibition highlighting Uzbekistan’s rich history and culture, along with its significant tourism potential.

The Uzbek stand was visited by Rashid Meredov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who reviewed the displayed books and examples of national art. He expressed confidence that the diplomatic bodies of both countries would continue close cooperation to further strengthen strategic partnership and fully implement agreements reached at the highest level.

The official proceedings concluded with a vibrant concert program prepared by students of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
