Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan are strengthening cooperation in the field of healthcare

ASHGABAT, April 3. /Dunyo IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshanbek Alimov, met with Myratberdi Gayypov, Minister of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
During the conversation, it was noted that thanks to the political will of the heads of state, relations between the two brotherly nations are consistently developing in all spheres, including healthcare.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues concerning the further development of cooperation in the fields of health and pharmaceuticals.
The significance of the participation of both countries' delegations in international events was emphasized. In particular, the active participation of Uzbekistan's representatives in the high-level dialogue on health diplomacy, which took place in Ashgabat this February, was noted.
The importance of exchanging experience in reforming the healthcare system, as well as expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, was highlighted.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue systematically and to consistently implement the reached agreements.
