FRANKFURT-AM-MAIN, April 11. /Dunyo IA/. The Consulate General of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with the Uzbek-German Cultural Society "Humo" and with the support of the "Vatandoshlar" Public Fund, organized a festive event to celebrate the national holiday of Navruz, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

During the event, Uzbek diplomats delivered welcoming speeches and congratulated those present on the spring holiday. Participants were informed about the ongoing large-scale reforms in Uzbekistan in key areas. It was emphasized that cooperation with compatriots abroad and the organizations they have established, which wish to contribute to the cultural, humanitarian, and trade-economic development of the country, is one of the priorities of the foreign policy of the New Uzbekistan.

In his welcoming speech, the Deputy Chairman of the "Vatandoshlar" Public Fund, Bolidin Sanayev, spoke about the current areas of cooperation with compatriots in Germany and highlighted the attention the leadership of Uzbekistan gives to its citizens living abroad.

During the cultural event, guests enjoyed live music performed by an Uzbek artist. The concert program was accompanied by games and national dances. Guests also had the opportunity to try traditional Uzbek pilaf and sumalak.

Similar events were organized in cities such as Augsburg, Mainz, and Munich. Over 500 people participated in the celebrations, including compatriots and their families, as well as representatives of the German public.
