KRASNODAR, May 30. /Dunyo IA/. A charity event for compatriots was organized in the Russian city of Krasnodar by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Rostov-on-Don, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event brought together compatriots facing temporary life difficulties, migrant workers, and about 50 students from higher education institutions in the Krasnodar Krai. The charity gathering was held in the spirit of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Khayit), reflecting values of mercy, generosity and mutual care.

Participants were informed that this initiative is implemented within the framework of Uzbekistan’s state policy aimed at providing comprehensive support to compatriots abroad, as well as protecting their rights and legitimate interests. It was particularly emphasized that ensuring the well-being of every citizen, regardless of their location, remains one of the key priorities of the reforms carried out in the country.

During the meeting, topical issues related to the legal protection of compatriots, working conditions of migrant workers, and the adaptation of studying youth were discussed. Citizens received detailed clarifications on consular and legal matters, along with information on mechanisms for obtaining legal assistance.

In conclusion, the participants expressed their sincere gratitude for the attention, care, and support shown during the festive days. They noted the special significance of holding such meetings outside the homeland, emphasizing that these events foster a sense of unity with their native country, strengthen ties among compatriots, and enhance their engagement with Uzbekistan.
