Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia hosts charity gathering for compatriots on the occasion of Eid al-Adha

• 206KUALA LUMPUR, May 28. /Dunyo IA/. On the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan, a charity dastarkhan was organized in the capital of Malaysia for compatriots on the occasion of the sacred holiday of Eid al-Adha (Kurban Hayit), reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event, organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, was held in an atmosphere of open dialogue and high spirits. It brought together Uzbek teachers and students, scholarship recipients of the “El-yurt umidi” Foundation, representatives of the World Association of Youth of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, as well as compatriots working in the academic sphere in Malaysia.
The event was opened by Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Karomidin Gadoev, who conveyed greetings and sincere congratulations from the leadership of Uzbekistan to Uzbek students and compatriots working abroad on the occasion of the sacred Eid al-Adha holiday.
During the meeting, participants were informed about the measures being implemented by the leadership of Uzbekistan to provide comprehensive support to compatriots living abroad, including young people pursuing education in foreign countries.
Particular attention was paid to the initiatives of the Head of State aimed at ensuring the celebration of Eid al-Adha — a holiday embodying such noble values as compassion, humanity, gratitude, generosity, and tolerance — as well as to the additional support being extended to compatriots abroad during these blessed days.
As part of the event, an open dialogue was held between Embassy representatives and compatriots, during which participants received answers to questions of interest to them.
Participants noted that they deeply feel the attention and care shown by the government of Uzbekistan toward compatriots living abroad. They expressed gratitude for the wise policy of the Head of our state in supporting Uzbek youth around the world and emphasized their readiness to contribute to the development of their Motherland in the future.
Second-year student at UCSI University in Malaysia, Doniyor Abdusamadov:
- Today I took part in the charity dastarkhan organized by the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Here, I had the opportunity to meet many compatriots studying in various fields and exchange views with them. The conversations held during the event were sincere and warm.
As I am studying in the field of finance, after completing my education I plan to return to Uzbekistan and become a specialist who will contribute to the development of this sector and our country. Taking this opportunity, I sincerely congratulate all compatriots on one of the greatest holidays of the Islamic world — Eid al-Adha.
First-year student at Xiamen University, Mukhsina Maksumova:
- Today we attended the charity dastarkhan organized in Kuala Lumpur on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. Such events unite young people. We express our sincere gratitude for the attention and care shown to us, the youth.
The knowledge and skills I gain during my studies in Malaysia, I intend to apply in the future for the benefit of Uzbekistan’s development after returning home. I would also like to thank all the organizers of this event.”
Saidolimkhon Bakhodirov, a student majoring in cybersecurity at the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation:
- I am delighted to participate in this event organized on the initiative of our Head of State in honor of Eid al-Adha.
We are deeply grateful for the attention given to young people. I would like to thank the organizers of this event and encourage my peers to make full use of the opportunities being created, acquire profound knowledge, and contribute to the prosperity of Uzbekistan in the future. Personally, I am also ready to take part in implementing new projects for the development of our country.
