Kashkadarya to host the 5th International Environmental Congress “Youth – Builders of the Future!” on August 10–15th

TASHKENT, August 7. /Dunyo IA/. On August 10–15th, V International Ecological Congress “Youth — Builders of the Future!” will be held at the “Lochin” children's health camp, located in the Shakhrisabz district of the Kashkadarya region, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

Event is organized by the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change of Uzbekistan jointly with the Agency for Youth Affairs, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, as well as the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent.

According to the National Committee for Ecology and Climate Change of Uzbekistan, International Congress will be attended by youth representatives from Belarus, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Russia, as well as all regions of Uzbekistan.

Within the framework of the event, various competitions, contests, presentations, exhibitions, meetings, ecological actions, and plugging will take place and various projects and initiatives will be implemented. Furthermore, the congress program includes the “Best Ecological Project” and “Best Council of the “Young Ecologists” Movement” competitions, “Eco-Zakovat” international contest and “Whiz Kids Club” (KVN) competition, alongside a number of other contests.

The holding of the international congress is aimed at increasing youth activity in the fields of ecology and socio-economic development, broadly involving young people in environmental protection, supporting and implementing promising ecological ideas and projects, as well as developing proposals for solving topical environmental problems.
