GUANGZHOU, December 18. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the business forum “Guangzhou SME Go Abroad”, organized by the Guangzhou Committee for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangzhou CCPIT), the Consulate General conducted a presentation highlighting Uzbekistan’s economic opportunities, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event, attended by over 300 Chinese companies, provided information on Uzbekistan’s key indicators of sustainable socio-economic development, investment attractiveness, industrial potential of its regions, opportunities in the tourism sector, as well as the system of incentives and benefits in free economic zones.

Forum participants highlighted the importance of the consistent reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. Particular attention was drawn to the country’s strategic location in the region, the favourable and secure business environment established for investors, and the developed infrastructure, all of which create broad opportunities for Chinese companies.

During negotiations with Zhang Xiufeng, Deputy Chairman of Guangzhou CCPIT, issues related to expanding cooperation aimed at achieving practical results were discussed, including the organization of group visits of business representatives to Uzbekistan.
