Investment potential of Uzbekistan presented in Shanghai

SHANGHAI, April 21. /Dunyo IA/. A business symposium aimed at strengthening trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and China was held in Shanghai, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.

The event was attended by the Deputy khokim of the Mirzo-Ulugbek district of Tashkent, as well as representatives of leading Chinese companies.

As part of the symposium, a presentation was delivered on Uzbekistan’s investment potential and promising regional projects. The Deputy hokim introduced the participants to the socio-economic and investment prospects of Tashkent and proposed a number of joint projects for implementation in the region.

Representatives of Chinese companies currently operating in Tashkent shared their experience in successfully implementing projects and spoke about the favorable conditions created for investors.

The symposium emphasized that the deepening of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and China offers broad opportunities for the development of interregional cooperation and the realization of joint initiatives across various sectors.

Additionally, Chinese investors received detailed responses to questions concerning the business environment in Tashkent, available government support, and specific investment opportunities.

During B2B meetings, agreements were reached on implementing investment projects in areas such as the production of agricultural drones, processing and packaging of agricultural products, manufacturing of safety equipment, construction materials, and the production of unmanned aerial vehicles and their components.
