Shenzhen hosts presentation about the regional investment opportunities of Uzbekistan

• 197SHENZHEN, December 19. /Dunyo IA/. As part of the Uzbek delegation’s visit to China, led by Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, Governor of Namangan Region, the “Uzbekistan–China: Trade, Economic and Investment Forum” was held in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, reports Dunyo IA correspondent.
The event, organized jointly with the Uzbekistan–China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, brought together municipal leaders and over 500 leading companies. During productive G2B and B2B negotiations, agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed to advance 27 investment projects.
Alongside Namangan Region, the forum featured presentations highlighting the trade, economic, investment, and tourism potential of Navoi and Bukhara Regions, Karakalpakstan, as well as the capabilities of Uzmetkombinat JSC in Uzbekistan’s mining sector.
Additionally, a roundtable, conducted by the Namangan regional administration with participation from more than 30 local companies, explored cooperation prospects in construction materials production, electrical engineering, agriculture, energy, tourism, education, and healthcare.
The forum is considered a key milestone in enhancing the international investment appeal of Uzbekistan’s regions and advancing mutually beneficial cooperation to a higher level.
